The world witnessed the crowning of the British monarch after seven whole decades. And the way it unveiled itself had everyone seated. King Charles apparently decided to bring a bit of modern tint to the traditionally regal ceremony. While the royal processions were as captivating, what truly held everyone in awe is the Royal concert.
The American Idol judges, Katy Perry, who was also hailed as a Queen, albeit not as officially as Queen Camilla, and Lionel Richie seemingly gave one of the best performances of their lives, but those in attendance pulled some limelight as well. And among many others, the fan-favorite animated bear, Winnie-the-Pooh was also present to honor and congratulate His Majesty the King. And he was not alone. The bear also brought along his long-time friend, Pink the Piglet. The two then entered Windsor Castle with a gleeful smile, noting King Charles’s love for red squirrels.

In a cute Instagram post, Winnie-the-Pooh, who was holding a blue balloon with “King Charles’s Coronation” written on it, told his friend how ardently the monarch loves red squirrels. “Christopher Robin told me his majesty loves red squirrels so much, he sometimes gives them names and lets them into his house.” He further asserted that the squirrels must be fond of his majesty as well.
And while the creation of English author A. A. Milne and English artist/illustrator E. H. Shepard made the King’s big day all the more special, this is not the first time a teddy bear stopped by the royal household.

Before King Charles, his mother, the late queen also had her share of good times with the bears
When the late Queen Elizabeth II had her last riots, many of her followers and well-wishers tributed her with the Paddington bear. Some three months before her unfortunate demise, the Queen seemed to share a good time with the brown stuffed toy on her Platinum Jubilee. Well, she also offered him tea and marmalade sandwiches.

The queen apparently could not attend the event physically because of her deteriorating health. But this very adorable skit with the bear certainly reassured her presence. Furthermore, as you can see in the clip above, it still manages to bring a smile to our faces. So, even though the bears may be a little bit clumsy, they appear to have a way with the monarchs in a way no one will ever do.
