Over the years, the singer has proved that she believes in unity and standing together in trying times. In fact, she recently gave her followers her response to the plight of the people of Israel and Palestine.

Just like many other celebrities, the ‘Whip My Hair’ singer used her 11.2 million Instagram following to share a message of “humanity” amidst the adversities on the far side of the planet.

Willow Smith’s call for humanity on social media

Recently, Willow Smith took to her Instagram story to share a slew of posts. Though they ranged from jokes to funny stories at her own expense, there was one that caught everyone’s attention. It was her turning to the wise words of activist, Valarie Kaur, that stopped her fans in their tracks. It said, “Our most powerful response to the horror in Israel and Palestine is to refuse to surrender our humanity.” 

The words explained how she believed the world should respond to those who were living in horror and urged her followers to keep their “humanity” intact. Although the star has not said anything else about the situation, it is evident that her heart goes out to the people and their struggles. In fact, she is not the only celebrity to have shared her thoughts about the situation.

Ever since news of the Isreal-Palestine war broke, celebrities from all over the world have been sending their prayers and thoughts to the people.

Hollywood shares messages amidst the Israel-Palestine conflict

Just like Smith, there have been many other Hollywood stars who have shared how they feel about the conflict. From Jessica Alba, Tom Brady, Courteney Cox, and many others, stars broke their silence shortly after the war had claimed many innocent lives. In fact, Friends alum, Jennifer Aniston also shared a heartfelt message for the ones caught in the conflict.

TV and film stars are not the only ones calling for peace, even the former British monarchs, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, condemned the conflict. They also released a statement from their Archewell Foundation that promised support for all the innocent victims. While Willow was not the first celebrity to speak out on the issue, her stance resonated with many.
