The Oscar-winning actor is coming up in a video game. Surprisingly, it has an uncanny resemblance to his 2007 film.

Reportedly, Smith stars in a survival game named Undawn. The developers of the game, Lightspeed Studios, and Level Infinite, released a new trailer where Smith leads the team as Trey Jones. It seems the video game character is similar to his 2007 film, I Am Legend.

Undawn is an open-world survival game that encourages players to search for resources, construct bases, and join forces with other players as they strive to survive in a world that has been altered by radiation. Players have the opportunity to pre-register for early access to the game and receive rewards, and the game had a closed beta testing period in April. As fans watched the trailer of the game, they found an uncanny resemblance to Smith’s film, I Am Legend.

The post-apocalyptic film sees the King Richard actor surviving against the blood-thirsty zombies. Similarly, in the game as well, Trey Jones is going to help save the survivors from the uninvited evils. “We are not your dinner. Period,” says Smith in the official trailer that he also posted. Fighting the mutants and saving the survivors is something Smith has done before as Robert Neville. 

Now, with the launch of his debut video game, the Emancipation actor is ready to turn on his survivor mode once again. The game will be available for the players on June 15. Meanwhile, the Men in Black actor is getting ready to create the sequel of this 2007 iconic film.

I Am Legend 2 is in the making

With the success of the first movie, the 54-year-old actor got a lot of love. However, the altered ending of the film had fans a little shocked. Nevertheless, after all these years, Will Smith is finally coming up with his survival mode to star in the sequel.
