During the Weekend Update segment with Colin Jost and Michael Che, the duo poked fun at the couple in light of everything that was already coming out. They gave fans the already-known revelation that the couple at been separated since 2016, but claimed the reason behind it was that the Emancipation star had suggested that “she should star in GI Jane 2.“

The joke had the entire audience cracking up, which was not surprising. The comedy show has already stolen hearts, but this episode had viewers falling more in love with it. From hilarious jokes to an appearance from Taylor Swift and her latest muse, Travis Kelce, the night was filled with laughter and surprises. However, even with the fun, Will and Jada Smith were still at the back of everyone’s minds.
