Owing to the lack of information, many took to social media to discuss their own theories and speculations. Recently, the director duo appeared on The Playlist’s “The Discourse” podcast and shared some inside scoop on what fans can expect from Bad Boys 4. The Belgian directors informed eager fans how they were planning to craft the title of the movie, along with some major plot alterations.
The co-directors revealed that the title could be along the lines of “Bad Boys Ride or Die” as they already took “Bad Boys 4 Life” in the third installment. Further giving away some crucial plot details, they said that this time the movie will pivot toward a more comical shift. Unlike the previous Bad Boys film, which had a “dramatic tone”, the upcoming Smith and Martin Lawrence starred flick will “get people laughing and having a good time in the theater”.
Apart from the title and plot, fans also recently got the details about the Academy Award-winning actor’s hefty salary.
Will Smith’s high earnings from Bad Boys Part 4
The 54-year-old, who once stepped into the industry with bankruptcy, is now shining in the second spot of being the most expensive star of Hollywood. Though the journey was not as smooth as one might expect, he made his name synonymous with stardom. His star value increased significantly over the years, making him turn down many movies owing to pay disputes. Starting with $2 million in the 1995 Bad Boys, Smith got a massive increment of $25 million for the fourth part.

This salary rounded up his income from all Bad Boys movies to a total of $69 million. His partner-in-crime is not lagging behind either. The 90s fame, Lawrence also made sure to collect a lofty amount of $32 million from all three movies. However, his star value did decrease over time and he took home $6 million from the third part, directed by Adil and Bilal. When compared to Smith’s pay, his pay faced a noticeable dip, proving the ever-changing nature of Hollywood.
