Since the beginning of last year, Will Smith has been teasing plans for a revival of his iconic franchise, Bad Boys. While the film ran into delays because of the SAG-AFTRA strike, it looks like the creators, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, have managed to keep the much-awaited project on track. Now, after months of silence, fans were given a surprising update about the Martin Lawrence film.

Recently, the first look at Smith and Lawrence was given with the Bad Boys 4 trailer. The clip started with the audience's favorite bad boys hyping up the sudden drop of the trailer, calling it "hot," before diving into the biggest plot twist yet. The upcoming film will focus on the framing of Captain Howard, the beloved character played by Joe Pantoliano.

Apart from the intense storyline, the movie will also feature action-packed fight and car chase scenes mixed with some of the dynamic duo's missed banter. However, that was not the biggest surprise that fans had in store. The trailer also revealed that the film will be making its way to theaters on June 7th.

Although some users were excited about the upcoming Will Smith film, others seemed to think that it was a waste of time.
