In the ongoing dramatics surrounding Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith lately, the story seems to have taken a new turn. After being hailed as the epitome of a disintegrating relationship for weeks, the couple seems to be moving on from it all. Amidst all the scrutiny and ridicule brought about by Jada’s recent revelations, the couple is finally taking back control of the narrative. At least that is what recent developments suggest. 

While the internet swarms them with memes, a video of the couple has challenged the rumors that the two may be ready to split up. 

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith continue unperturbed

As the world continues to bash the Smiths for turning their marriage into a spectacle, the couple is dancing away their troubles. In a clip shared on YouTube by The Independent, Jada and Will Smith were seen celebrating the former’s mother: Adrienne Banfield-Norris’s birthday. Decked in all white, the couple clapped and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ together. Meanwhile, a slightly out-of-frame Jaden Smith could also be seen in the back. 

When it comes to the Independence Day actor, he seems to be projecting this unbothered attitude on his social media too. Just yesterday, he went back to sharing a typical goofy post to his Instagram. Earlier, when the drama was at its peak, he had also shared another clip that let the world know of his intentions to look past it all through a caption that read “notifications off”. 

While it may seem like the 55-year-old has brushed it all off, one thing he is doing to address his relationship is supporting his wife. 

The Smiths still stand united 

Even as the world questions Jada’s actions, Will Smith has not left any room for doubt about his deep admiration for his wife. After her memoir Worthy release, he shared an open letter that was read out during a Jay Shetty podcast. In it, the father of three spoke about having embraced his wife’s personal journey fully, despite all that she had revealed in her book and in her recent interviews. 

Later, he also joined her on a trip to Baltimore for the promotion of her newly-released book. Now, as the two continue celebrating their lives with each other, it seems like those who were doubting their marriage have been proven wrong. Regardless of all the ridicule the Smiths have been subjected to, from netizens and even SNL, their love has clearly not wavered.
