The forthcoming coronation of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla has got the entire Kingdom up and running. In fact, the Sussex side of the story keeps unfolding new developments that have proved shocking to everyone at the Palace. Especially Meghan Markle, the Duchess’ decision to stay back with the kids in California, while the Duke, Prince Harry, prepares for a solo awkward meet-up with family at his royal base. 

The same decision by the Sussexes has been met with polarizing reactions from fans worldwide. Nonetheless, it also invited a new wave of criticism and backlashes for Meghan Markle by various media personalities. The royal correspondents for various publications have thus weighed on the current situation regarding the self-exiled couple. Speaking on Telegraph’s YouTube channel as reported by Express, royal expert and journalist Camilla Tominey has claimed that the damage done is enough by the Sussexes to the royal family. 

Speaking of the Duchess alone, she argued that it is “unlikely” Meghan Markle will return to the UK “ever again”. The opinion has much to do with the confirmation of the coronation attendance that came in a few days ago. The prime benefactor behind such a decision has not been made public yet. Nonetheless, the reasoning is primarily because Prince Archie’s birthday falls on the same day.

Despite the causes, Tominey believes that Markle was well aware of the negativity that she would receive on taking the step.

Bringing into account their bombshell tell-all projects, interviews, and publications, the expert affirmed that “most of the damage” has been done by Prince Harry. There is undoubtedly the unforgettable Oprah Winfrey interview that brought the Duchess into the top headlines. “But the real hurt being caused now is by his Memoirs,” claimed the expert. In fact, reports even have it that Markle wished to attend the coronation until the scrutiny on her changed her decisions. 

Nonetheless, with Prince Harry’s unlikely reconciliation with the family, the idea of Markle returning to Britain slowly only seems to become a distant dream. Moreover, the Sussexes established themselves across the pond in America.
