The Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to follow up on Avengers: Endgame’s scale with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer ‘Deadpool 3’. Its star-studded cast as well as comic extravaganza has fans on the edge. Furthermore, now that Loki Season 2 has started to air, centering around the same theme, fans wonder if Tom Hiddleston, too, is going to jump ships over.

The first episode of Loki season 2 dived straight into the multiverse, which will inevitably come into play in Deadpool 3. Moreover, the current MCU character with the most first-hand experience with it is Loki. A recent fan page tweet asked if the character were to make its way into the movie. And fans responded overwhelmingly positively.

Directing the first-ever R-rated MCU feature, Shawn Levy has already stated his plans to stuff in as many characters as he possibly can. Additionally, as much as the movie deals with the mutants and Deadpool’s entry into the MCU, it also sets up Kang, the next big bad. Furthermore, season 1 of Loki introduced Kang, and season 2 continued to build up his wrath.

Currently, the only characters who have knowledge of Kang are Loki and Ant-Man. While the latter is oblivious to his looming threat, Loki is stepping up his attack on Kang. At the forefront of that charge is the TVA, which is expected to appear in Deadpool 3. Being TVA’s whistle-blower, it seems more plausible than ever for Loki to appear alongside them.

Additionally, talks of both Hiddleston and his Loki co-star Owen Wilson, making their way onto Deadpool 3 is rampant and fans believe it could very well be true.

Three is a crowd. A crowd that cashes in very big on the box office, at least when it comes to Marvel. The last time the MCU assembled a trio was in Spiderman: No Way Home and it threw the ball miles out of the ballpark. Now, fans are hopeful that that history will be recreated again in Deadpool 3. Regardless, the only uncertainty that lies ahead is the duration of Hiddleston’s possible cameo, which fans believe could either be very brief or pretty profound.

Meanwhile, a few exercised a bit of caution as well.

How about in a post-credits scene then?

Regardless of Loki’s appearance, Deadpool 3 is all but set to reshape the MCU as fans know it. However, even as the hype is rocketing towards its zenith ever since set photos of their comic-accurate costumes surfaced, the movie is on an indefinite delay. The SAG-AFTRA strikes pose a grave risk to the project going off the scheduled rails. As such, fans may want to hold on to their popcorn buckets for a while and tune in to Loki season two for the time being.
