Will Smith, in all the years he has spent in the industry, has been known as the trendsetter. The seat on the pedestal comes from his dedication to always stay a cut above the rest and carve his own niche. One of the most popular examples is Smith’s raps during his time as The Fresh Prince. Despite the rap culture, his lyrics were devoid of profanities and lent greatly to revamping the industry. Even when he stepped into the acting industry, the actor remained one of the “cool guys“. But as the actor moves into his 50s, while the enthusiasm to be on top of the trend remains intact, he has dulled a bit on the adaptation part.

It is true that one can find the most ruthless of critiques in their homes. At least for Will Smith, it is true. The actor is the father of Jaden Smith, the kid who sits front row at fashion shows and was facing off with Jackie Chan at 11. Therefore, the stakes for him to be relevant are quite high. As the actor hopped onto the forever iconic ‘May the 4th be with you’ trend, his son had questions for him.

Be it climbing a steep mountain in Antarctica just to make a “Fresh Prints” joke or giving the world some of the most quoted movies, Will Smith knows his way around the pop culture town. Therefore, it does not come as a surprise that he killed two birds with one stone as he used a plethora of AI-generated images to honor Star Wars on the 4th of May. “#Maythe4thBeWithYou” he wrote on each picture which included Smith as various Star Wars avatars. And while one could still make amends with Smith’s “This is Endorable,” pun, his son found it absolutely unacceptable.

Joining the hoards of people who questioned Smith’s state of mind as he posted the pictures, Jaden Smith also wrote, “Why dad, just why.” However, we are sure Smith’s 24-year-old son was only dealing with secondhand embarrassment with all the dad jokes that the Men In Black actor spins out per post and nothing serious.
