Arnold Schwarzenegger not only adores his Terminator image but celebrates his flops as well. The actor has proved to be a timeless icon with a Midas touch, and an ability to turn all of his projects into a massive success. Of course, that does not make him immune to bad direction, screenplay, or anything else. But to the entertainer, success is more than just a box office number.

Even in 2023, the 75-year-old remains the top pick for action-filled projects, considering his fitness and abilities. Movies like Terminator, Predator, and Commando were hits that concreted his career as an actor. But there is one flop movie of his that he would rather appreciate and speak about, instead of forgetting, and that too from the 90s.

Even the best actors have a history of bad movies. But for Arnold Schwarzenegger, what matters is how much fun he had shooting for it. He revealed to Yahoo about loving his 1993 movie Last Action Hero despite it not doing nearly as well as his other hits. The movie was made by Die Hard director John McTiernan, who gained appreciation from the actor saying, “McTiernan did a great job with that movie. The actor had fun shooting the movie and expected big things out of it. Unfortunately, that did not turn out well.

Critics and fans alike criticized the movie, putting a streak to his successful flicks. The Austrian actor was largely hurt and disheartened by its performance, especially considering its expensive budget of $85 million at the time. But in 2023, the movie remains a binge-watch amongst the silent minority that loved it for its humor and action.
