The Midnight Sons, a team born from Marvel's supernatural corner in the '90s, brought together nine heroes for a series of multi-issue crossovers. They are a prophesized group of magical or monstrous heroes who come from darker stories and backgrounds. It was recently reported that Marvel Studios had discussions with Sam Raimi about directing a Midnight Sons movie, along with Doctor Stranger 3- both of which are connected comic universes. However, there is no confirmation on this rumor yet.
Based on the comic series, the rumored Midnight Sons film is set to feature a powerhouse lineup including Morbius, Ghost Rider, Blade, Doctor Strange, Werewolf by Night, and even Hannibal King. While the Midnight Sons movie still awaits a green light, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, another superhero team’s debut in the MCU, has been picking up speed, with a new character's debut confirmed for its 2025 release.
With this new arrival, the MCU may finally welcome its long-awaited villain- after fighting for its rights for long enough.

The Marvel fandom has already faced the wrath of Thanos in Infinity War, but there is always room for another cosmic conqueror. The fandom is looking for an even grander villain, one who threatens not just worlds but entire galaxies. Enter Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds. Earlier, Galactus used to be exclusive of Fox. However, with Disney’s acquisition of Fox, there are no such hurdles on the way anymore. And this year, at Comic-Con San Diego, Marvel made it official with a fireworks-filled drone show.
Though this will be Galactus' first appearance in the MCU, the rumored actor behind the world-eater has already made a brief visit to the Marvel cosmos. The actor in question, Ralph Ineson, previously played a Ravager pilot in Guardians of the Galaxy back in 2014. Now, with Marvel expanding its cinematic universe by adding The Midnight Sons to its fold, it seems the golden age for MCU fans is finally back.
