The patiently waited-for third season of the drama series The White Lotus has hit screens, as of February 16, 2025. Taking the internet by the storm with revealing new characters pertaining to the country-specific plots that the show demands, which can only lead us to imagining the rage that would be created if a continuation was added to the stories already foam thick plot.

Having already been renewed for its four in six parts in January of 2025, right before the premiere of the third season, the audience of the show does not have much ado about having to wait in suffering of the possibility of a cancelled comeback, but what does tweak their peace is the unrevealed details about the next rendezvous of the upcoming season, and the aristocratic endeavors that will ensue. 

HBO EVP Francesca Orsi, in a talk with the Deadline may have revealed nothing but a few hints to the locations that could be anticipated, that the audience could feed off of. While hinting about the location scouting that will be commencing soon, Orsi goes on to say “I cannot really say where we’re going to land, but chances are somewhere in Europe”, and then proceeding to funnily, rub over it as well, rephrasing it to be “likely” that a plot-twisting return to the European continent could be in considerations.

While the colossal and elaborate interiors of the resorts the guests of The White Lotus reside in seem to be unreal, they are quite tangible locations in real life, mainly seeing as the primary filming location had the been a collaboration with the Four Seasons resorts in the first, second and concurrent, third season, centering in specific locations within Hawaii, Italy and Thailand respectively, and the French Riviera location of the Four Seasons Resort in Europe being something that is being speculated by the audience.

With the show overtaking the screens, one accolade at a time, The White Lotus has definitely made its mark in the Hollywood field. Bagging several Emmy Awards in lieu of its stellar and star studded cast as well as the elaborate production process, the unexpected confirmation of the show's unstop-ability has pulled the internet into a pleasant rave.

Francesca Orsi also reveal how the idea to immediately proceed with a confirmation to the fourth season may have been an impromptu decision, while the a team visit to Thailand during the production of the third season itself, having come to the pleasant mutual agreement that “well, if you want to make more, we’re here.” Basking in the success of the show, its star studded cast renewed each season, the third season had a landmark new character of its own as well, on group-hiatus and new soloist, Lisa, who was seen taking the premiere carpet for the show by the storm.

As the show proceeds, there is also the looming, bittersweet knowledge of its final curtain call being only three more parts, and with the confirmation of the near commencement of the fourth season, only two more. The anthology style series has made its mark on the industry with its to-the-edge driving dramatics and compelling and breath-taking cinematics, making it a one of kind installation in the showbiz world.
