Where Prince Harry Grapples With US Visa Dispute, King Charles Need Not Care About Passports for Royal Reasons
The British Royals have their own set of bizarre perks of being a part of the royal family. Although the controversies they find themselves in seem to be endless at this point, they all get balanced out by the amount of prestige and upper hand they have due to their royalties. Perhaps this is also one reason why the renunciation of Prince Harry of his UK Sovereigns seemed like tomfoolery in the eyes of many. Recent reports, in fact, have substantiated the fringe benefits the senior royals enjoy while Prince Harry on the other deals with the struggles that come with being a commoner.
People magazine recently brought to our notice that out of the numerous advantages, the Monarch or the Sovereign alone, does not need an official passport to travel overseas. This means, unlike the commoners, the Monarch does not need to be concerned about packing the must-have Identification ID for his royal engagements or tours to travel abroad.
This rule officially came into effect when the Late Queen Elizabeth served as the Sovereign of the Kingdom. According to the royal website, all British passports are issued in the Name of Her Majesty. Thus, it is unnecessary for the Queen to possess one. This perk, however, is limited to the Sovereign and does not apply to the other members of the family.

Meanwhile, a United Kingdom think tank has been iron-willed to get the visa records. Long story cut short, the Duke’s official IDs were said to be invalid. It is because of his admission of drug consumption in his memoir Spare. However, the incident dated back years ago. The Prince is not involved in any such activities at present, or so say the outlets.
