Davidson and West had been feuding a long time before the former started dating the latter’s ex, owing to Yeezy’s hatred for everything SNL. A hatred, the rapper was not shy to demonstrate on social media, especially after the mother of four and the SNL actor started dating.

When the comedian was invited to present an award at the Emmys a month after his split from Kim Kardashian, his outfit choice definitely raised some eyebrows. He was seen sporting a Dickies jacket and pants. The all-black fit sported by Davidson was an exact replica of what the ‘Donda’ rapper had worn to the Met Gala, which he had attended with his then-wife in 2019.

Many wondered if the freshly split-up Davidson was trolling the ‘Gold Digger’ rapper, or if his ensemble was merely a coincidence. Considering the amount of ridicule Kim’s new ex had faced at the hands of West, fans had every reason to speculate. After all the past years, the drama between the trio was still pretty fresh in the memory of the public.

Pete Davidson got trauma therapy to cope with designer’s behavior

Ten years and four kids into her marriage with Yeezy, the now-billionaire businesswoman filed for divorce in 2021. As she began dating Davidson post their SNL sketch together, the Roc-A-Fella Records producer was not thrilled at this development in his ex-wife’s life. Ye, who was reportedly linked with various women himself, chose to take a rather hypocritically harsh approach to treating the SNL star. After the break-up, sources close to Davidson revealed that he had to take trauma therapy sessions to overcome the effect of West’s online and offline bullying.

Taking his stance on the relationship between the mother to his children and Davidson, the father of 4 started attacking the comedian through social media posts and videos. As many such incidents came to light, Davidson opened up about the toll that episode had taken on his mental health.
