While Henry Cavill is mostly an open book when it comes to most aspects of his life, one topic he mostly strays away from is his romantic entanglements from the past or present. Although he and Natalie Viscuso have been dating since 2021, the pair have mostly kept their affairs to themselves, barring a few peeks into their life through social media. Having been together for years, The Witcher actor’s fans have been eager to hear what is next in this chapter of his life. 

As it turns out, the 40-year-old did once point in the direction of the family he wished to build. 

Henry Cavill once felt this way about having children 

In an interview with Vanity Fair from 2015 (via Henry Cavill News), the Man of Steel actor was asked about his thoughts on getting married and having children. To this, he responded by confessing that he did “hope that happens” someday. According to the 40-year-old, managing a life with “children” was not a “difficult” task. However, he felt that it would only be possible if he found “the right person” to be able to raise them with. 

One thing he wished to be able to do for the woman of his dreams was “keep her happy” always. Despite these challenges, he revealed himself to be a “romantic” at heart. Particularly due to the nature of “the work” he does, Cavill felt that the person he chooses to have a family with will need to be conducive to his environment. Whether he plans on sticking to these plans or not, only time will tell. 

In the meantime, Viscuso and Cavill have started a family of sorts with their pets. 

Natalie Viscuso and Cavill’s growing family

In his relationship with Natalie Viscuso, Henry Cavill has so far welcomed two dogs into their home. After losing their beloved dog, Meat earlier this year, the couple brought home another canine in June. Having named the little one Baggins, the Argylle actor sometimes shares glimpses of their life with him through his Instagram page. They even announced him as the new member of their family on social media. 

Judging by Cavill’s social media shares, they certainly treat their four-legged companion like family. While Cavill comes from a large family with four siblings, he has not shown any signs of starting a family with children of his own yet. Meanwhile, his chosen family with Viscuso and their pets seems to be going strong.
