No one will ever forget the NBC sitcom, Friends. While the series ended 2 decades ago, it is still one of the most watched and loved series in the world. Although most fans of the show have memorized all the different scenes and have even picked their favorites, they all ended up being stunned when it came out that a certain cast member, Courteney Cox, had forgotten all but some of it.

A year after the show’s reunion in 2021, the 59-year-old ended up stunning her fans with a rather surprising revelation about what she remembers from the early days.

Courteney Cox’s bad memory

In a 2022 interview with Today, Courteney Cox opened up about what it was like filming the reunion, 17 years after Friends had ended. While she had absolutely enjoyed hanging out with her former cast mates and reminiscing about the good times, she admitted that she was not able to recall certain scenes that were asked about during it. She said, “I don’t remember being there. I don’t remember filming so many episodes.”

The Cougar Town star also added that she “should have watched all 10 seasons” before the reunion to ensure that she was caught up on everything. While her bad memory is to be blamed for her not being able to keep track of the episodes she had done, the reunion thankfully went off without a hitch. In fact, at the moment, no one knew it, but it would be the last time the world got to see the whole gang back together.

Although Cox may have forgotten many scenes, there was one unforgettable iconic scene of hers that she ended up reenacting just a few months ago.

Courteney Cox’s Thanksgiving throwback

As any Friends fan knows, Thanksgiving was always a big event at the Geller household. While the series gave the world many memorable holiday episodes, there was one that stayed with everyone, including the star who created it, Courteney Cox. It was the scene of her with a Turkey on her head. In a post on her social media, the 59-year-old shared the GIF with her own take on it.

At the end of the clip, fans were blessed with the actress bravely sticking her head in a turkey once more. While it may never happen again, her throwback left the world in fits of laughter. In the series, the star did it as a way to cheer up Matthew Perry’s Chandler, but now it seems to be her way of giving the people what they want.
