How Courteney Cox responded to Prince Harry’s memoir revelation

In 2023, Prince Harry took over the world with his bombshell memoir, Spare. While his fans might have loved his revelations, his family certainly did not. Apart from sharing insights about life in Britain’s royal family, the Duke also opened up about partying with Courteney Cox at her house. A little over a month after the memoir came out, the 59-year-old told Variety, “He did stay here for a couple of days, probably two or three.”

While she had not read the memoir yet, Cox claimed that she had “heard” about the “mushroom chocolates” incident that the royal had written about. The actress then stated, “I’m not saying there were mushrooms! I definitely wasn’t passing them around.” Although she may have set the record straight about what went down at her home, it was not the last time that the two had run into each other.

Shortly after Prince Harry’s “mushroom” revelation came to light, both he and Courteney Cox ended up making their way to the same birthday party.

During the same interview with Variety, Courteney Cox revealed that she had bumped into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at actress Portia De Rossi’s 50th birthday party. While she had wanted to catch up with the Suits actress, she chose to not disturb them as they were already talking to other people. Although they might not have spoken to each other, there is no doubt that they saw each other at the party.

The night eventually turned into something much bigger than just a 50th birthday party. In fact, it actually ended up being a vow renewal ceremony for Rossi and her wife and TV host Ellen DeGeneres. With stars like Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Kris Jenner, Prince Harry, and even Markle present, it ended up being a party that no one would forget.
