When ‘Barbie’ Actress Mistook Prince Harry for Ed Sheeran at a Party?
When you think of royalty, you imagine a disciplined setting where elegance, protocol, and knowing how to curtsy are basic knowledge. That is unless you are Meghan Markle. The Duchess of Sussex got a lot of heat for saying she did not research the royal family and hence did not know she had to curtsy to the Queen in the Harry & Meghan Netflix docuseries. But Markle is not at fault for not knowing the art of curtsy. Especially because before becoming a Duchess, her only encounter with royalty was through Prince Harry, who can also be easily found at Suki Waterhouse’s party if Margot Robbie’s statements are anything to go by.
Once upon a time, the Barbie actress attended her model friend’s housewarming party. She was welcomed at the door by a polite ginger-haired man. Given how “he did not have a crown” and did not ask her to curtsy, she immediately connected the dots to him being the owner of a soothing voice and ginger-haired chart-topper, Ed Sheeran.

It was not until she had a few drinks that she was enlightened by the fact that the ginger-haired man was actually Prince Harry. While narrating the story to Jimmy Fallon, the actress confessed that she made things worse.
When they were all heading into the photo booth with their silly props, Robbie remarked, “I did not know Ed Sheeran was attending the party.”Unfortunately, for her, Prince Harry did not take it as a compliment and said “Shut up!”
The Barbie actress was well in her rights to think that it was Ed Sheeran who was at the party. After all, only 1-2% of the global population has fiery-colored hair, and what are the odds that she would be meeting a Prince at a housewarming party? But one wonders if Prince Harry and Margot Robbie developed a lasting friendship beyond the awkward encounter.
Are Margot Robbie and Prince Harry still friends?

The chance encounter between Prince Harry and Margot Robbie happened way before the Sussex’s grand royal wedding. It was in 2016 that they met for the first time. Thankfully, after getting offended during their first meeting, the Duke got around to becoming good friends with the Hollywood sweetheart. So much so that they are on a prank-texting basis.
During the promotion of Suicide Squad, she revealed that the Duke replies pretty quickly. This was after Robbie and Cara Delevinge prank texted him saying that she saw him in a dream. Ever since their meeting in 2016, Prince Harry and Margot Robbie have remained friends.
