Apart from being two of Hollywood’s fan favorites, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jennifer Aniston have another surprising thing in common. However, it is not their love for fitness or staying in shape. In fact, it has more to do with their high-profile divorces from their respective spouses. While the Friends star may have been in the limelight for her split from Brad Pitt, Schwarzenegger was too when he announced his split from his wife after 25 years.

Though they both may have not had the best luck with love, at least they did get lucky with their divorce lawyers. In fact, they even shared the same one, years apart.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jennifer Aniston shared a divorce lawyer

Back in 2011, according to reports from TMZ, Arnold Schwarzenegger was splitting from his wife of 25 years, Maria Shriver. But the plot twist came when it was revealed that The Terminator star had hired Robert Kaufman to represent him during his divorce proceedings. Kaufman had been known in the industry for keeping divorces and splits out of the news. Five years before being brought in by the former governor, he represented Jennifer Aniston who is still learning to love again.

Kaufman went up against Shriver’s lawyer, Laura Wasser in court. However, it was not the first time that these two had gone head to head. After being in touch with both sides, the lawyers announced that the parents of four would be “moving forward” with their divorce. But one thing that they made abundantly clear, was the fact they were not going to let their split affect their relationship with their kids, Katherine, Christina, Patrick, and Christopher.

Though their kids were still pretty young when the divorce happened, it is evident that the family is still extremely close. In fact, the whole clan was even spotted at a Malibu dinner with Chris Pratt recently.

The Schwarzenegger’s night out

Last month, the whole Schwarzenegger crew got together to celebrate his son Patrick’s 30th birthday. Apart from just the family, they were also joined by Katherine’s husband, Chris Pratt at Nobu. While most people would expect the couple to have issues due to the reason behind their separation, it seems as though the couple has since moved on and left the past behind them.

While most people would be surprised that a former couple could be so loving and supportive of each other, Schwarzenegger and his ex-wife have found co-parenting to be one of their strong suits. From what fans can see, that seems to be extremely true as well.
