What Was Meghan Markle’s Incredible €5000 Gift for Princess Lilibet as She Turns Two?

The parents of the two have always been firmly determined to build up a happy-loving family with their younger ones. And so they did, recently on the occasion of their youngest’s birthday. While their firstborn turned five the previous month, their daughter, Princess Lilibet, just turned two on the 4th of June, 2023. Owing to the same, mother Meghan Markle had a special surprise birthday gift planned for her little one.

It was bought, however, not days, months, but years ago, even before she came across the royal family through her beloved Prince Harry. As brought to the notice by Mirror via Hello Magazine, Meghan Markle’s gift dates back to the time she reached the pinnacle of her career through the Netflix paralegal series, Suits.
Three seasons into the franchise, Markle’s lead character, Rachel Zane flaunted a fancy £5,000 Cartier Tank Francaise watch. In an interview with Hello in 2015, the now Duchess revealed that she has always coveted the Cartier French Tank watch. “I plan to give it to my daughter one day. That’s what makes pieces,” Markle confessed.

Meghan Markle could not have had a better option for her gift
The same had a powerful message engraved as a memorandum of all Markle’s achievements, expressed the former American actress. She held the watch so dearly to her heart that Markle had to think of something special to keep it with her forever. That is when she decided the watch was best suited for her daughter. Now that the time has come, it is to see if the Duchess has really passed on the luxury fight to her daughter.

Princess Lilibet’s birthday comes as a bit of a respite between the ghastly turn of events over the last few days. Born in the year 2021, the Sussex Princess was the youngest member of the royal family bearing the name of two of the greatest icons in the legacy.
