Ever since Oppenheimer was released, everyone has expected it to bag an Oscar award. While the world seemed to love it, Logan Paul was not a fan. In an episode of his podcast, ImPaulsive, he revealed that he had “walked out” of the theatre because he felt that there was too much “talking” in the film and not enough action. He continued by adding, “It’s all exposition. Nothing happened.”
While his comments sparked quite an uproar online, the YouTuber did not seem to be fazed. After all, it was not his first time hating on a globally loved work of art. Back in 204-15, the WWE star had made similar comments about Nolan’s Interstellar. However, now, the movie has landed on Paul’s list of favorite movies. That may not happen with Oppenheimer, but it looks like the rest of the world loved the film.
After ending off the debate of the century with its Oscar nominations, Oppenheimer seems to be on track to sweep the Academy Awards just like fans had predicted.
Oppenheimer to be crowned the best film of 2023
Ever since award season kicked off, Oppenheimer has managed to get quite a head-start on its rival, Greta Gerwig’s, Barbie. While some fans had expected the movies to go head-to-head at the Oscars, their dreams unfortunately were crushed when the Cillian Murphy film ended up landing 13 nominations while the Mattel film received only 8.
