Millie Bobby Brown appeared for an eleven-minute interview with UNILAD on September 22. Following the interview, the British media outlet shared a clip featuring Brown devouring carrots. In the video Brown examines the various vegetables supplied by UNILAD but ultimately prefers the orange vegetable, especially the baby carrots. While taking a bite of a carrot, Brown playfully said, “These are great…the dirtier the better”. Brown also explained the source from where she discovered her love for dirty carrots in the video. 

Millie Bobby Brown’s mother, Kelly Brown, used to relish dirty carrots when she was pregnant with the Enola Holmes star. Though initially, the 19-year-old found it repulsive, she eventually developed a fondness for the same as she found the taste of “unwashed carrot” more “earthy”. In fact, more than the dirt on her vegetable, she felt disgusted by the ranch dressing offered to her during the segment. However, Ranch is not the only food item that Brown has an aversion to.

Millie Bobby Brown’s character in Stranger Things was iconic for many reasons. But one aspect of her character that can never (not) be funny was Eleven’s obsession with eggo waffles, for which she even smashed a glass door of a grocery store and gave the store employees the scare of their lives. Fans were quick to assume that Eleven’s signature food choice might just be Brown’s favorite as well. However, the actress shared in an interview with Wired that she, in fact, does not like the batter-based flat cake. 

The interview had a segment in which Brown had to answer the most searched questions about her. It was during this segment that this subject came up. Brown was so disgusted with waffles that she spit it out every time she took a bite during the filming. “I couldn’t swallow the waffles because I’d gag”, said the actress about how she feels about waffles. That said, Brown’s food choices are just as out-of-this-world and extraordinary as she herself is!
