“What the f**k AT&T?”- Ryan Reynolds Slams Telecom Company Rivaling Mint Mobile, Launches Special Offer
Ryan Reynolds dons many hats, but the one that stands out is his marketing expertise. Among his diverse ventures, one that showcases his promotional prowess is Mint Mobile. Reynolds acquired a 20-25% stake in Mint Mobile in 2019, but in March of the previous year, T-Mobile purchased the company for an impressive $1.35 billion. Despite this change in hands, Reynolds continues to play a significant role, with his latest F-bombed Deadpool & Wolverine film driving dynamic, edgy, and most importantly, R-rated promotions for Mint Mobile.
In a recent promotional push, Reynolds took a colorful swipe at rival telecom giant AT&T, a shift from his usual focus on box office news.

Ryan Reynolds goes the extra mile for his projects, and Mint Mobile is no exception, whether it calls for a Santa Claus makeover or dropping F-bombs. Recently, Reynolds took to Instagram stories, using a background voiceover to exclaim, “What the f**k AT&T,” in response to their price hike, while promoting Mint Mobile’s special offer. The story also features a pop-up saying, “We interupt Ryan’s regularly scheduled box office updates for a special message,” with a link directing viewers to the website.
Mint Mobile is offering a special deal where users can bring their entire family for free with their “Buy a Plan, Get Up to 4 Free” plan. The newly introduced 3-month plan features 5 GB of data for $15, compared to AT&T’s prepaid-one-month $30 plan, which is double the cost. Mint Mobile’s 15 GB, 20 GB, and unlimited plans are all available for $15 each, whereas AT&T’s 15 GB and unlimited plans are priced at $40 and $65, respectively.
For Verizon, the 15 GB and unlimited plans cost $45 and $60, respectively. As this offer is available for a limited time to new customers, it also comes with certain conditions.
