It is a known fact that the upcoming Suits L.A. is born out of the recent streaming popularity of the original show, but it is already different in a few ways. One obvious contrast between the original and the branch initiative is its diverse geographical setting, as the latter will take place in Los Angeles, whereas the former was set in New York. Additionally, Suits was filmed primarily in Toronto, Canada, while Suits L.A.’s pilot is being shot in Vancouver.
Meanwhile, unlike Suits’ Pearson & Hardman, which was about corporate law, its spin-off will be about an entertainment law firm, Blake Lane Law. Although the spin-off is expected to introduce some Suits characters, Suits L.A. will be its own thing, starring Stephen Amell as Ted Black, Josh McDermitt plays Stuart Lane, Troy Winbush as Kevin, Lex Scott Davis portrays Erica Rollins, Bryan Greenberg as Rick Dodson, and Alice Lee as Leah.

As a result, the journey and challenges they encounter will be variably diverse from those fans witnessed in Suits.
