Homecourt is not just about removing dirt and dust. It is about creating a sanctuary in the home, a place where one can relax, recharge, and feel their best. Before the launch of this brand in January 2022, Courteney Cox sat down with Women’s Wear Day to talk about it. In the interview, she introduced the company as a “beauty line for the home” instead of the brand that offers home cleaning products.

The Scream star who knows the value of time spent with family and friends wanted a well-cared-for space for everyone. She also told WWD that she had originally planned to create a candle line, but noticed a gap in the home care category. They initially launched three products: hand wash ($30), dish soap($25), and surface cleaner($20).

During lockdowns, many people, including Cox, spent more time at home than ever before. This naturally led to an increased focus on cleaning and hygiene. While staying safe was important, Cox disliked the constant presence of disinfectant scents like Clorox. So she saw the opportunity to make a brand that combined high-quality cleaning with beautiful designs, sustainability, and luxurious fragrances. The Just Before I Go star joined hands with former WWD staffer and Nécessaire cofounder Nick Axelrod-Welk and former Viktor & Rolf head of marketing Sarah Jahnke to create it.

Though the company has not disclosed revenues in the past two years, the Financial Times reported that they have an international customer base and products sell out fast. So the actress-turned-entrepreneur has been growing her brand that adds a spark of beauty to cleaning homes with the help of friends and partners. In a nutshell, Homecourt has become a favorite among celebrities and everyday people alike.
