Prince Harry is in no mood to ‘spare’ the vile British press on account of illegal intrusion into his life since he was eleven. His estranged royal family might have turned its back on the rogue Prince. Nonetheless, his fight against the unforgiving tabloids of the UK that kept throwing dirt on his family for ages continues. The Duke has single-handedly made his motive to take down the publications which he believes should have been done long ago had the Palace taken a stand. The papers, as the Prince alleges, have indulged in trading extremely private details of his life for the mere reason of selling their papers. 

Thus, the Duke has taken it to the London court, marking a historical event in the legacy of the royal family. Becoming the first ever Royal in a century to step on the threshold of a legal court, the Duke has presented a 55-page-long extraordinary witness statement in his rare royal testimony. The statement brought back age-old headlines revolving around the royals. One such was the Duke’s phone hacking scandal with his elder brother, Prince William, as Sky News reports. 

Although that was not the first ever phone hacking scandal that has gripped the royals, Prince Harry is taking things one step at a time. Speaking of his recorded calls illegally obtained by the MGN, Prince Harry told the court “it was ‘natural’ to discuss personal aspects of his life with his older brother.” Adding to it he claimed that the two “would often speak over the phone and regularly left voicemails for one another containing very private and sensitive information.” 

He further alleged that the Prince of Wales has himself been a prime victim of the phone hacking scandal, although he got his hands dirty.

The Duke of Sussex disclosed how the two would share some confidential information between them like any other normal brothers in the world. Nonetheless, the Press has always kept a close tab on his elder brother keeping in mind his position in the line to the throne. 

However, it was also exposed how the now Prince of Wales had once settled a phone hacking claim against Rupert Murdoch’s papers in the year 2020. Prince William reportedly accepted a “secret payoff” to sign a favorable deal in return for going off quietly about the phone hacks.
