Shortly after the game, proud owner Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter and expressed his happiness over the club’s latest performance. The Deadpool star was in awe of the Wrexham boys as he lauded, “What an effort.“

The actor also celebrated the much-awaited return of star defender Ben Tozer, whose comeback was rather surprising. Ahead of the fixture, Ryan Tunnicliffe was set to start for the Red Dragons. However, as fate would have it, Tunnicliffe suffered a pre-game injury pushing Tozer into the starting eleven. The center back did not fail to amaze as he kept the Notts County attackers in check.

Wrexham’s attack duo Elliot Lee and Ollie Palmer had an incredible match as they netted a goal each. On the other hand, the star striker Paul Mullin who had a rough time during the club’s previous fixture earned a yellow card against Notts County.
