Henry Cavill’s girlfriend bid farewell to her beloved dog on Instagram on the 27th of April. The dog took up more of Viscuso’s Instagram feed than she did herself. Belonging to the brachycephalic breed, it left a deep void in both their lives. And if there is one thing to learn about the Man of Steel, it is that he possesses the stunning quality to remain grateful while also having a clear sight of when to move on. Therefore, it did not take the couple long to welcome a new poodle of joy- Baggins.

Viscuso shared the news on her Instagram through a post that hit close to home because of the caption and the incredibly swoon-worthy photo attached to it. Remembering her beloved companion, she wrote, “Henry and I miss our Meat man every day- nothing will ever fill that void.”

Akin to his name, Baggins is small enough to be cooped up in one’s lap. While this adds up to his cuteness, it also makes him the perfect little brother for Kal aka Henry Cavill’s ride-or-die. While this marks another collaboration in their personal lives, the Man of Steel actor and his girlfriend have made a huge collaboration on the professional front as well.
