He implied that his mother, Jada Pinkett Smith, was the one who introduced psychedelics to the family. 

This statement subjected Mrs. Smith to a lot of criticism and attacks from the fans. Weeks after the revelation, the 52-year-old took to her Instagram handle and penned a long message promising to unveil an in-depth journey of her life.

After the 25-year-old rapper’s controversial interview at the Psychedelic Science Conference in Denver, his mother announced her memoir on social media. The Girls Trip actress informed her fans about the release date of her book, Worthy, which will be available by October 17 this year. She invited her followers to a comprehensive exploration of her life that is still behind closed doors. The Red Table Talk host shared that whatever her fans know about her stems from falsehood, misunderstandings, and untrue narratives. 

Through her book, the mother of two will “take back her narrative” and will unveil the journey of her life in her own words. From her humble beginnings in Baltimore to the glittering world of Hollywood, lady Smith will be sharing every facet of her life. Her memoir will cover her youth, friendships, her discovery of love, marriage, motherhood, and betrayal. Towards the end of her post, the actress gave her fans a message saying no matter where they may be, they are all “worthy”. 

The Scream 2 actress also spoke about her son’s statements about psychedelics while promoting the memoir, Worthy.

Post the ‘Syre’ artist’s interview at the conference, the Daytime Emmy Award winner faced a barrage of questions seeking clarification. Will Smith maintained his silence on the matter and never confirmed if he indulged in the usage of psychedelics. However, his wife had a fitting reply to these flooding inquiries and talked about her son’s claims to People. Pinkett-Smith said that the internet is brimming with assumptions about her and the Smith family.

And The Nutty Professor actress will take complete responsibility for participating in the falsehood of her life. Although the actress in the past accepted using plant medicine to tackle depression, she did not make any direct statement about the psychedelic claims. Instead, the 52-year-old went on to say that the answer to every question will be present in her upcoming memoir.
