While the world may have fallen in love with the royal fabulous four, Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, and their royal husbands, Prince Harry and Prince William, it seems like those days are now long gone. Ever since ‘Megxit’, the four have not been on the best of terms. But sometime last month, fans of the royal foursome had a glimmer of hope when it was revealed that Princess Kate had allegedly asked her husband to fix their now-soiled relationship with their family.

All those dreams have now come crashing down with the latest revelation of Middleton still being upset with the California-based royals.

Kate Middleton wants to maintain distance with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Recently, a source revealed to Us Weekly that Prince William and Kate Middleton are facing issues in their marriage. Just like most couples, the royals are having issues seeing eye to eye on how to handle the situation with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Only weeks after reconciliation rumors, a source has claimed that the 41-year-old is “not ready” to make amends with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Even going so far as to say that the royal has “no desire” to speak to them.

The source also revealed that Middleton feels as though “too much” has happened and she needs more time before she jumps back on that horse. Her husband, Prince William, on the other hand, “wants his relationship with his brother to improve.” But it does not look like that will be happening anytime soon as neither of the couples seems to be taking that step forward.

The reasons for their fallout have come forward time and time again, but the couples are no closer to a resolution. However, it might surprise people, but the Wales couple had extended an olive branch to the younger prince in 2021.

Middleton encouraged Prince William to fix the relationship

Just last month, a former BBC correspondent, Jennie Bond, revealed things about the royal couple. She claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton had put the ball in Prince Harry’s court during the funeral of the late Prince Phillip. While fans got pictures of the royal trio in conversation, it never resulted in something fruitful. But later, it was revealed that it was the Prince and Princess of Wales extending an olive branch.

While Middleton seemed to have hope that the relationship could be “fixed,” sadly, the plans did not work out the way she had hoped. Evidently, that may have been her final straw, as the Princess now needs time to deal with everything that has gone down between the four of them. Though hopes for a reconciliation seem distant now, fans can only hope something changes and the royal four come back together.
