“We lost our home”- 7 Million Worth Sydney Sweeney Recalls the Struggles of a Lower Middle Class Family
Sydney Sweeney is indeed living the dream of her life now but remains the same honest girl she was 14 years ago. Her interest in the acting world incurred when she was only 11 years old. From convincing her parents to enrapturing the world with her charms, she has come a long way. But unlike many, the young actor did not go astray from her reality and has been honest about her financial conditions. While sharing another such moment with fans, the bombshell beauty talked about the struggles of a lower-middle-class family.
The Euphoria star recently sat down with Isabelle Truman for Harper’s Bazaar interview where she shared some untold stories about her career and life. This included the time when she was just an aspiring actor with big dreams. Sweeney dwelled back how she used to travel forth and back from her home to Los Angeles.
The 25-year-old said it was quite challenging for her lower-middle-class family to afford this stretch between two places at one time. They did not have enough money to let their kid stay in town and pay her bills. “Then the [financial] crash happened, and my dad lost his job, and we lost our home [in Spokane],” she added.

Sydney Sweeney’s social media handles nowadays show how much she likes to spend time with her family and friends. In fact, last year she planned a Western-themed party for her mother’s birthday in her home state of Idaho. However, there was a time this small-town girl hated going home. In her interview with GQ, the actress got candid about how people used to shun her all the time for not becoming famous.
She told the outlet that her friends and relatives used to criticize her, saying if she was ever going to do anything real. It was utterly disappointing the way people treated her. All those snobbish remarks often made Sweeney think if she was letting down her parents who sacrificed so much for her. But things soon started falling into place and the actress came out victorious, zipping the mouths of naysayers.
