Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are at it again. The two stars have recently exchanged some new jabs on social media, involving their respective superhero roles as Deadpool and Wolverine, as part of their long-running and hilarious ‘feud’ for years. This time around, Reynolds takes a jab at one of Jackman’s frequently overlooked departures from comic accuracy.

In the comics, Wolverine is only 5’3, while in contrast, Jackman is 6’2! Exactly 3 years back on the 20th anniversary of the first X-Men movie, the actor tweeted a video of him ‘clashing’ and losing to a toy Wolverine figurine. It was obviously a recall of how the actor plays a taller version of his comic counterpart. And Ryan Reynolds definitely did not let it pass.

The Deadpool star marked a solid comeback to one of the Wolverine star’s early tweets. In a brilliant move, he used his humor to leverage both his movie and take a jab at the other actor. In particular, recently confirmed images from Deadpool 3’s sets surfaced. The images in “Hugh-res” (pun intended) confirmed one of every fan’s heartfelt requests. It confirmed that the duo is indeed pairing together in the movie with comic-accurate suits! The Logan star will reprise his role as Wolverine in his iconic yellow-blue suit from the comics. And Ryan knew this was the perfect opportunity for a comeback.

The 46-year-old posted a photo on his threads account with a similar Wolverine toy figurine seated in a human-sized chair which apparently belongs to Jackman on the sets of Deadpool 3. Captioning it, “Short King” in a direct jibe at the other. He even added, wondering if, with a comic-accurate suit, his arch-nemesis would also have a comic-accurate height. However, will we see Jackman in a comic-accurate height? Given that anything is possible in the multiverse, only time will tell.
