Was Ryan Reynolds Ever Cast in 'Bullet Train'? Here’s the Truth

It goes without saying that Ryan Reynolds has a very impressive portfolio. He created it with a significant rise in the 2000s era as a romantic lead and guy-next-door vibes, and transformed into funny roles and went on to become a Hollywood A-lister. However, besides his own leading movies, he has also earned significant credit with his cameo appearances in some other movies.
And one big movie, which he was highly rumored to have a special appearance in, was Bullet Train. But since the movie was topped with many confirmed star appearances, fans who never got to see the movie do not know whether Reynolds made the cut or not. Let us find out.

Led by Brad Pitt, Bullet Train was one of the biggest movies of 2022. It was a self-referential take on the action genre that was jam-packed with unexpected and jaw-dropping star cameos of Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Michael Shannon, and more. And to the relief of fans, Ryan Reynolds was one of them. Reynolds is seen in a small but important role in the movie in the role of Carver.
Reynolds played an assassin who has questionable morals and shoulders the responsibility of the collision that took the life of the White Death’s wife. When Carver walks away from the explosion and removes his helmet, it turns out to be Ryan Reynolds. Though his was an uncredited cameo but his list of other lead comedy movies is surely impressive. This was Reynolds’ payback to Brad Pitt for the latter’s appearance in Deadpool. Interestingly, Reynolds was on shoot for this special appearance on the sets of The Adam Project, which he was filming at the time.
The fabulous cameos of Ryan Reynolds and others increased the mass appeal of the movie and peaked its popularity. Besides Bullet Train, he has done similar favors for a few other projects as well.
What other movies did Ryan Reynolds make special appearances in?
Besides the Brad Pitt thriller, Ryan Reynolds is credited for his cameos in the 2012 movie Ted as Jared; this again was an uncredited appearance. He lent his voice to the small character of Guy in The Croods. His other special appearance came in 2014’s A Million Ways to Die in the West, where he played the role of Cowboy. Then he appeared as Victor Locke in Hobbs and Shaw in 2019 and was credited under the pseudonym Champ Nightengale

Then his last cameo appeared in the romantic action comedy Ghosted, where he made an appearance as Jonas. For Ryan Reynolds’ diehard fans, these movies and Bullet Train are surely a rare experience they should not miss out on.
