Just a week ago, the headlines were teemed with reports of Matthew Perry’s early departure. Fans of Chandler Bing worldwide took a moment to process this unsettling news as millions offered their heartfelt tribute to this enduring icon. After his passing, questions were left about the fate of his estate and the fortune he accumulated over the past decade. The Los Angeles Entertainment Lawyer Tre Lovell addressed the New York Post in regards to this question. He revealed that three possible options could unfold in such a case.
Lovell reported that firstly if there is a trust, it would be conducted in privacy. The second likely case would be if he had a will made to his name. In that regard, it would be administered under court authorization. And, thirdly, in case he had neither, his heirs would assume ownership of his estate. He further explained that if the third option was viable, his estate would likely go to his parents and siblings, since he had no children.
The credible chance of him contributing to a trust appears valid given he had previously established a men’s sobriety centre.
