According to royal biographer, Ingrid Seward who spoke to People, it is likely that Princess Kate did not want her children there to simply avoid the fuss. She speculated that the 42-year-old did not want to make a “big thing of it” since it was already quite a big deal. Moreover, the London Clinic where she is currently situated does not allow children to visit for safety and hygiene, anyway.
Another patient who had been operated on at the clinic felt that his son did not enjoy visiting him because a hospital environment can be “scary” for young ones. So, it appears that Middleton may have avoided the intrusion in consideration of her kids. Meanwhile, Prince William and King Charles have both met the princess since her surgery. The monarch met with her quite recently.
King Charles met her for the first time since she was admitted when he got admitted himself.
