The royal family, which has made it a custom to take to their social media handles wishing their family members, evidently opted the Sussex royal out of the list. Recently pouring out wishes for the third-in-line to the throne Princess Charlotte, the royal social media handles remained rigidly silent on Prince Archie's special day.

By doing so, they not only sparked fresh feuds but also deterred from a path previously followed by the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Spending her whole life trying to hold the family together, the former monarch has been let down by her successor in various aspects. One of them is distancing his estranged kids from the Palace. During her reign of Queen Elizabeth, the royal handles of the Prince and Princess of Wales, took to social media to express their best wishes to the Duchess on her special day, which was later discontinued.

So was the case with her favorite grandson Prince Harry, for whom she made sure no indifferences were harbored. Nonetheless, with the retirement of the Queen, those practices have been long erased from the royals’ rule book and mere consciousness.
