Meghan Markle stands out with the most split fan bases in the celebrity world, with an equal measure of supporters and critics. Despite being at the center of multiple controversies over the years, the former actress garnered a dedicated fan base who sees her as genuinely good-natured and humble. This includes the popular broadcaster, Jennifer Su, who constantly showers Markle with love and admiration. 

She has been an ardent supporter of the Duchess of Sussex and never misses a chance to say it. Recently, the Taiwan Idols winner shared another heartwarming post on X, formerly Twitter, that sparked intriguing responses across the web. Jennifer Su penned a note to Meghan Markle, advising her to not give heed to the hate and “ignore the noise”. She also advised the Duchess to stay focused on her individual goals and “not let jealous people dim your (her) fire”.

Jennifer Su, along with the heartfelt note, shared a throwback picture with Meghan Markle. Jen Su first posted the picture on Instagram in October, after she had a chance encounter with the Duchess in LA. The picture also featured Jennifer Su’s friends, Melissa Leonard and Madison Leonard, who met up in LA for a dinner outing. Even then, Jennifer Su described her encounter with Markle as “very low key and super nice”. 

The caption stirred up mixed responses from fans, with some resonating with Jennifer Su’s sentiment and others ridiculing the post.

Many fans took to the platform to express their admiration for the Duchess of Sussex. However, there was a section of fans who believed that there was no reason for anyone to be “jealous” of Meghan Markle. Some of them also reflected on the term Spotify executive, Bill Simmons, called Markle and Prince Harry. Nonetheless, the overwhelming love from fans stood strong against the hate and negativity flooding the comment section. 

Many fans agreed with Jennifer Su’s advice for Meghan Markle. They further advised the Duchess to not let her shine dim by the negativity of haters.

The fan responses suggested that the Duchess of Sussex, who is reportedly losing her popularity in America, still has the support of fans amid the influx of hate and negativity. However, whether the Sussexes will be able to maintain their relevance in Hollywood is still a question given that they are about to face stiff competition from their own estranged family members.
