The Kardashians season 3 was hot with the tensions brewing between Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian, following the former’s Italian wedding. Kourtney had allegedly called out the SKIMS founder for copying her wedding theme to instill a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show. Nevertheless, the end of the season straightened things out.

However, with the current season on the run, the sisters can be seen scuffling with each other again. The peaking interest from fans has led to speculations about whether Kim’s former relationship with Travis Barker has finally come to bite in the back. Regardless, the assumptions did not sit well with the Blink 182 drummer, prompting him to break his silence.

Travis Barker puts a pause on the scandalous speculations

In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Travis Barker shut down any conjectures leading to the idea that Kourtney and Kim’s ongoing burn was due to their former relationship. The passionate drummer made it a point to put it up there that Kim is his sister-in-law, hence, the assumptions are infuriating. He said, “You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’” He also added that Kourtney is aware of the things in the past while clarifying that this ongoing rivalry is not a product of anything even mildly relevant.

The Blink 182 drummer had previously admitted to developing a crush on Kim Kardashian in his 2015 memoir, Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums. But he explained that there was never any intimate involvement between him and Kim. Apparently, the extent of their interaction remained strictly short and “gentlemanly”.

Despite the ongoing rumors, it appears that the Kardashian sisters are working towards reconciliation.

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian are on their way to bettering their relationship

While the Kardashian sisters have been at it for a while now, cues from their social suggest that they might be onto peace-making amid the rumors. In her recent birthday post shared by the KKW Beauty founder, Kourtney appeared to be absent. Thankfully, her absence did not lead to a full-grown controversy, owing to Kim’s caption. Kourtney’s name took a special mention in the post where she wrote, “..and Kourt, I’m jumping in bed with you next week for our bed rest picnic.”

Followed by the same, Kourtney Kardashian also took to her Instagram to make a special post on Kim’s birthday. Furthermore, in the mood for Halloween, Kourtney also dressed up donning Kim’s Met Gala look to give the fashion icon a moment of appreciation. If this does not scream a “sisters-reunited” moment, it is difficult to envision what would.
