When it comes to having a signature style palette that defines you on a global stage, choosing a color might be challenging. And when you share a lineage with the UK’s royal family, you are left with no choice but to adorn all the colorful mixture of attires that has been the family’s tradition for centuries untold. However, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has been forever the glass-breaking force to change that. Not only does she have a knack for her own set of Markle colors, she has, in fact, set the trend with the same for this and further generations to come. Breaking through her preferably subdued hues to adorn, the color white has been forever a constant in the Duchess’ ensembles.

While the royalistic cultures might call for traditional robes and heavy velvet kingly attires, Markle knows the secret business with ‘quiet luxury’. And although her caramel color long lined coats have been forever the trademark of the Meghan Markle effect, the Duchess has got a knack for the white button-downs. 

Every time the Duchess, Meghan Markle rocked the whites 

Starting from the much-talked-about first-ever public appearance with fiancé Prince Harry, Markle made her entry as the Duchess in a simple plain white. Taking delight in the Invictus Games of 2017, the couple held hands, and Markle her sleeves up to his elbow tucked in her funky ripped jeans. 

Markle seemingly repeated the same combination once again in the very same year 2017. Although this time the Suits alum opted for a different textured shirt, the stylistic outlook of her fit remained the same. She seems all casual yet comfortable in the white button-down departing from the Texas airport at Austin. Rocking the look was the classic straw hat, and her cross-fit flats that once again constitute the collection of Markle favorites. 

What to us appears changeless and eternal may change. But nothing can alter the Duchess’ obsession with rocking the outfits in sports matches. It was once the Wimbledon season. And two years after the airport look, the newly minted Duchess looked all at ease, in a regular white shirt for the match.

What stole the show more than her outfit was her big smiles and frequent giggles with her royal counterpart, Kate Middleton. The Suits star who had officially acquired the Duchess title looked effortlessly elegant in the button-down shirts, minimalistic accessories, and all neutral jewelry. 

Needless to say, her knack for identical white shirts has remained intact to this date. Paparazzi snapped the Duchess going hand in hand with the Duke in her breezy white shirt complemented with Reformation linen brown shorts. Before making the waves with her kids at the 4th July Parade, this was Markle’s one of the rarest public appearances this year.
