Christmas will be here in a few, but in La La Land, it is as good as a cue for the forthcoming holiday cinematic roll. After last year’s Wonka, this year’s upcoming Christmas Day release of A Complete Unknown, Timothée Chalamet’s next merry entry for a cinematic hat-trick will be with Marty Supreme. Directed by Josh Safdie from an original screenplay written by him and Ronald Bronstein, A24's Marty Supreme follows a globetrotting adventure comedy.

Although early reports speculated it to be a biopic of ping-pong player Marty Reisman, recent ones tell a different story. The project is supposed to echo a cross between Wolf of the Wall Street and Catch Me If You Can. Considered A24’s joint most expensive production to date alongside The Smashing Machine, the film stars Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler the Creator, Fran Drescher, Penn Jillette, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary (aka Mr. Wonderful), Abel Ferrera, and Sandra Bernhard.
