TikToker Addison Rae Set to Cast Alongside Ryan Reynolds and Other Big Names in an Upcoming Live-Action Movie
Adisson Rae has gone from being a TikTok star to a Hollywood star. The social media star who boasts more than 88 million followers will be working with a lineup of A-list actors. Ryan Reynolds will be working on the movie as well. While she already made her acting debut back in 2021 with the romantic teen drama He’s All That, although it was not as big of a hit as one may have expected.
But this upcoming project will certainly test her skills amongst an array of stars. The live-action movie already had a casting team lined up, with her being one of the latest ones to join it, that too as one of the lead members. Here is a look at the project.

Addison Rae has expanded her career from TikTok to the big stars of Hollywood. According to Deadline, the actress will join Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Vince Vaughn, and Aubrey Plaza on the list. Reynolds’ company Maximum Efforts and Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios will co-produce the movie. Emmy Award-winning director Peter Atencio will also direct it. It will be written by Kevin Burrows and Matt Mider. Considering the big budget, it will probably have more cast lining up.
Notably, the name of the project is set to be ‘Animal Friends’. As per sources, the movie will be based on a theme where friends go on a road trip. With the mix of these actors, the movie is expected to be R-rated, having some adult scenes in it. Burrows and Mider had a meetup with Patrick Gooing, executive of Maximum Effort, wherein they discussed the idea for this film.
