TIFF 2024: Fans Left Mesmerized as Florence Pugh Serves Barbiecore for ‘WE LIVE IN TIME’ Premiere
Over the years, as Florence Pugh made a name for herself in Hollywood with acclaimed projects like Oppenheimer and Little Women, she has also stepped up her fashion game. The actress never fails to turn heads on the red carpet. And one fashion trend she has embraced several times is 'Barbiecore', which has become a popular style since the release of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie. And Pugh has done it again.
At the premiere of her latest film, WE LIVE IN TIME, at the Toronto International Film Festival, Florence Pugh made a statement on the red carpet with a floor-length pink gown with a black bow. While her choice might seem like a nod to the 2023 Barbie blockbuster, Pugh has been rocking Barbie-inspired looks long before that. Back in 2022, she wowed everyone at Valentino's fashion show in a sheer hot-pink dress, which would have given Bianca Censori a run for her money.

Even last year, Pugh opted for a baby pink double-breasted blazer and wide-leg trousers at Valentino’s spring/summer 2024 show in Paris. She coordinated with her WE LIVE IN TIME co-star, Andrew Garfield, who sported a candyfloss-pink coat at the same event. And now, keeping up with her style traditions, Pugh won fans over again with her Toronto Festival look.
Fans took to X to rave about Florence Pugh’s 'Barbiecore' look at the WE LIVE IN TIMEpremiere.
Fans are blown away by Florence Pugh’s Barbie-inspired outfit
'Barbiecore' has been all the rage in recent years. It especially peaked in June 2022 when photos of Margot Robbie dressed as Barbie in an all-hot pink outfit hit the internet. Her look went viral on TikTok and led to a whopping 416% jump in searches for pink clothing that year. Since then, this trend has been a staple in celebrity and high fashion, and Florence Pugh has been a big player in pushing it.
Fans have been gushing over both Florence Pugh’s outfit and the actress herself.
