In late 2022, the actress-turned-talk show host announced through Day Street Books that she will be releasing a memoir. And 51 is not a bad age to write a memoir. Especially if your husband slapped someone on stage the same year at the Oscars.

However, her memoir which is set to release this year is way more than just her and the Emancipator actor. It is also about her and the rap legend, Tupac Shakur. And ultimately, it is about her rising above all these ties and embracing herself.
