Kanye West is an incredibly popular name among the masses. He is a man of many credits and perhaps one of the most talented individuals of our generation. While the rapper has always had his share of controversies, one cannot deny that he is a creative genius. Moreover, Ye enjoys a successful career in a variety of fields ranging from rapping, music production and even designing. Over the years, a plethora of artists have credited him for inspiring them. Interestingly, Elon Musk too could not hold himself back as he credited the Grammy-winning rapper.

We are no strangers to the legacy of Elon Musk. One of the most successful entrepreneurs of our generation, Musk is a renowned individual. While Musk and Kanye West don’t appear to have much in common, the duo enjoy a decade-long friendship. And a few years ago, the Twitter boss credited the rapper during a podcast appearance. The interviewer began by crediting Musk for inspiring everyone before asking him about his inspiration. It did not take Musk long to answer as he named the Heartless hitmaker as his inspiration.

Musk replied, “Well, Kanye West, obviously.” The fans, including the interviewer Jonathan Nolan, could not hold themselves back as they burst out laughing.

The rapper first met Elon Musk back in 2011. Surprising as it sounds, the Twitter boss invited the Heartless singer for a tour of his Space-X factory. Musk gave West a private tour of his company and that is where the duo first hit it off. Since then, the duo has exchanged praises on multiple occasions.

Following their iconic meet-up in 2011, the duo was a part of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People list. Musk again praised the rapper, labeling him a “member of the cultural pantheon.” However, a few years later, their friendship took a dramatic turn as Musk furiously called out Kanye West.

Kanye West and Elon Musk share one of the most interesting relationships in Hollywood. From being one of the most popular bromances to calling out each other, their bond took a dramatic turn. Soon after Musk took over Twitter, he quickly reinstated a number of accounts, including that of West.

However, the Flashing Lights hitmaker shocked everyone as he posted an image of the Swastika. The Twitter boss could not hold himself back as he revealed that he felt like punching West following the post. It did not take long for Musk to remove West from the platform yet again. Since then, the duo has been taking digs at each other.
