According to Deadline, Stranger Things actor Sean Astin is a member of the SGA-ASTRA negotiating committee who has been actively handling the situation.

The actor played Bob in the Netflix series, which itself is facing problems because of the strike. After his last meeting for negotiations, he stated how they were far from coming to a settlement. He described the outcome as “a sinking feeling” as they felt betrayed by the production companies who allegedly gave false hopes of pushing time and getting their movies promoted.
