A few years before Henry Cavill took on the role of DC’s Superman, he starred alongside Michael Fassbender in a horror film. In 2009, director Joel Schumacher gave the world Blood Creek. The film focused on two brothers, Evan and Victor Marshall, who were played by Dominic Purcell and Cavill. Evan ended up going missing for 2 years. However, just when his brother figured out his location, he wound up outside his house.
After he revealed that Michael Fassbender’s character was the one holding him hostage, the brothers head off on a mission. That is when they uncover that the kidnapper was a Nazi occultist. It then turned into a battle against good and evil. However, Cavill and Purcell managed to foil the cult leader’s plans.
With Cavill making his way back into the world of fantasy and shedding his previous roles, Blood Creek could make for the perfect palette cleanser before fans dive into Argylle’s mysteries.
When will Henry Cavill’s Argylle release?
Back in June of last year, the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes took over the world. While it put a stop to most of Hollywood, Henry Cavill fans were upset, as it meant a delay before he took on another role. Thankfully, the actor along with Matthew Vaughn, Dua Lipa, John Cena, Bryce Dallas Howard, and more managed to stay on track with their February 2nd release date for Argylle.
