During the Friends reunion that happened in 2016 to honor iconic sitcom director James Burrows, Aniston revealed that she “always loved the flashback (episodes).” She also stated that she liked it when the episode flashed back to “fat Monica and Rachel pre-nose job and Ross with his afro.” While the actress did not specifically name the episode, the details allowed her admirers to connect two facts together and come up with the prom video episode.
