“They are kind of like…” – Joe Keery Opens up About Millie Bobby Brown and Rest of ‘Stranger Things’ Kids Growing Up on Set
The end is near. Stranger Things will soon close its door to Hawkins and the beloved character fans fell in love with. It almost feels like yesterday when we first saw them on Netflix. The 80s-era sci-fi horror series became an internet sensation overnight, making the unknown cast members popular around the globe. All the main cast members were as young as 9 and 10 years old when they first auditioned for the Duffer Brothers. Looking back at those beautiful days, the elder cast member Joe Keery recently talked about what he feels about this change.
Joe Keery recently joined Millie Bobby Brown at the much-awaited German Comic Con in Dortmund. During his panel interview, the actor was asked about his experience of seeing Millie, Noah, Finn, Caleb, Gaten, and Sadie growing up into adults. “That’s a very unique experience and they are kind of like sibiling in a way to me because I’ve really seen them grow up,” he remarked. “So that’s been probably the favorite part of my job.”

The American musician stated that they all were very small when he first met them. He said that Finn Wolfhard, who plays the role of Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things, is even taller than him now. So this has been an amazing journey, spending time with these kids and his on-screen buddy Dustin. According to him, he never made a connection with anyone in the show business like he has with them.
Meanwhile, like all other actors, he expressed his thoughts about the show which is going to end with season 5.

In the same interview, another fan asked him the most sought-after question about their final appearance on the show. The 31-year-old replied that this is certainly going to be bittersweet because people are excited about the showdown. However, this comes with the hard part too because they will work together last time and cast members will go on their own paths afterwards.
Well, it is not only the cast members but viewers will miss the show because they won’t have any new seasons to wait for. Or fill the social media with their crazy theories and speculations.
