One of the biggest rivalries that had fed fat the media frenzy over the years has been Princess Kate Middleton versus the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. The two have forever been at loggerheads with each other, or at least as the royal enthusiasts have pointed out, for imitating each other’s fashion styles and wardrobe. Not to mention the parallel controversies that run in the background. With Markle forever taking the hits for being the oddball in the House of Windsor, Kate Middleton has secured her place as the centerpiece of the family post-Queen’s demise. 

All the royal privileges and allowances have failed to spare her the indignation of rebranding her fashion choices from Meghan Markle. As reported by the Mail, the Princess of Wales once again stunned some core Meghan Markle favorites that eagle-eyed fans could not ignore.

On the occasion of reopening the National Portrait Gallery, the Princess pulled a perfect monochromatic outfit with a white jacket on top, along with a pleated white skirt. Nonetheless, this was not what the fans pointed at. For her footwear, the Princess stepped out in a pair of black Aquazzura pumps, which have been closely associated with the Meghan Markle effect over the years. 

It did not take the royal enthusiasts much long to point out that Kate Middleton has just invited another wave of “Who did it better race” with her latest appearance. As she stepped out in London, all eyes were on the Bow Tie Pump 105 black heels. The pair has significantly been a Meghan Markle favorite even before she acquired the title of a royal.

As is reported by the outlet, the Aquazzura pumps have been a must-have in Markle’s wardrobe back from her actress days in Hollywood. First founded in the year 2012, the brand became a household name when the now Duchess of Sussex favored them in her butterfly days. 

Even after becoming a royal, Meghan Markle kept intact her obsession with the pumps. During her time in the United Kingdom, she wore an outstanding pair of heels a couple of times. On various occasions back in 2018, such as on their Australian Tour and on their trip to Dublin, Markle sported the pair quite often.
